The Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra inaugurates the new season with timeless masterpieces. Sergei Rachmaninov’s 2nd Piano Concerto has been widely described as the greatest piano concerto ever written and, even today, its lyricism inspires popular artists such as Céline Dion. The concert concludes with Maurice Ravel’s ever-popular Boléro which guides us through the art of orchestration used to build up its dramaturgy.
